hungry?

When many of our guests arrive at The Postmaster’s House, they have been traveling all day, either flying in to St. John’s airport, or driving from points west.

Either way, it’s been a long day, and many of our guests find that they’re bushed and just don’t want to go search for a place to eat. They would rather just sit and relax in their room, in the living room, or on the second floor terrace.

Well, we have put together a delicious array of sweet and savoury treats that will hit the spot and start off your stay with us just right.

A fabulous charcuterie platter is sure to satisfy any grumbles in your tummy.

Our exclusive Postmaster’s Charcuterie Platter includes locally produced meats and cheeses from Chinched Restaurant (located at 5 Bate’s Hill in St. John’s), crackers, our own homemade Postmaster’s bread, and garnished with our in-house made mustard pickles, jams, and other accoutrements.

Here’s one we prepared earlier. It’s extremely tasty and nourishing, we can assure you!

Add on a bottle of wine or sparkling wine and voilá, have it all waiting for you in your room when you arrive.

If you have more of a sweet tooth…

…then you’ll love a box of our fabulous house-made cake truffles. They are a moist, delicious cake filling (vanilla, chocolate, or berry), covered with imported Belgian chocolate. Bite into these little tykes and let your taste buds dance!

Again, add on a bottle of wine and let the vacation begin!
